Margliz Foundation (NGO) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development and addressing key challenges across seven interconnected focus areas.
Our Mission
We work across afforestation, agro-ecological agriculture, climate change, natural resources conservation, information technology, better sanitation and hygiene, and advocacy on gender equality — treating each as part of one connected mission rather than isolated programs.
Over the years we've achieved milestones that positively impact communities, ecosystems, and individual lives, made possible through strategic partnerships with government agencies, local communities, corporate entities, academic institutions, and fellow NGOs.
We intend to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and continue addressing emerging challenges in our focus areas — strengthening collaboration with stakeholders, leveraging technology for innovation, and advocating for policy changes that support sustainable development and social justice.
Our Objectives
Combat deforestation and promote afforestation through awareness, tree-planting campaigns, and collaboration with communities, government, and other stakeholders to restore forest ecosystems.
Support farming practices that prioritize biodiversity conservation, soil health, and sustainable food production through capacity building, farmer training, and knowledge sharing.
Mitigate climate effects and build resilience in vulnerable communities through awareness campaigns, renewable energy promotion, and climate-smart agriculture.
Advocate for responsible, sustainable management of water, land, and wildlife through research, conservation projects, and community-based initiatives.
Harness technology to drive positive change — digital literacy programs, access to information, and technology-driven solutions that bridge the digital divide.
Improve access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education — reducing waterborne disease and improving public health in underserved areas.
Advance gender equality and empower women and girls through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and capacity building for equal rights and inclusion.
